ABOUT THE BOOSTERS

OUR PURPOSE

The purpose of the Hastings Bands Boosters is to provide continued support to the Hastings Schools Band Program through the following activities: 

  • Promoting the Hastings School Band programs

  • Working in cooperation with the band directors and administrators at Hastings Schools

  • Encouraging and making possible educational trips, exchange programs and concerts that are sanctioned and approved by the school

  • Actively support all phases of both student and band fundraising

FUNDRAISING

During the last five years the Boosters have helped raise more than:

  • $46,800 to student accounts from Booster sponsored fundraisers

  • $8,900 for students to participate in band festivals, guests artists, and clinicians

  • $4,500 in instrument purchases

  • $3,150 in scholarships
